It's a gamblers mod. I'm pretty sure it works more like every attack you roll a figurative 5 sided dice, you could get lucky and consistently sunder every attack( or a figurative 10 sided dice for the furious) or you could crap out and never hit it. It's not necessarily every 5 hits you will get the sunder. Either way Vamp is sure fire extra pain.

I will say, using a furious mod, I tend to get the bonus a lot, even with the wide margin of failure. Stuff charges a lot faster then it should. It's what made me reconsider a sundering weapon and I'm liking the results.

I for some unknown reason, like to use Sundering if I use an axe..

As for sword, must be Vampiric and Furious set.

Hammer, furious and +30. Sometime I like to swap with armor+ vs elements

I always use vampiric fighting anything bar warriors, icy vs warriors, or zealous if im low on energy. I swap to a furious weapon when im blind/miss hexes because then each his has the potential to charge my adren more and i dont lose hp/energy from vamp.

Only time i like sundering is on the ironclaw green axe which is nice for the use with Decapitate, which i only do in AB when im feeling bored

Its been proven that VAMP > Sundering, but people are to baed to weaponswap.

Yes Vamp does deal better damage, but the difference is only 1-4 on average depending on weapon.

People should run multiple weapons and swap when needed, but people are lazy or are doing multiple things other than playing at the same time.
